Being a human is amazing. I love finding out about new people I’ve never heard of, and learning about their stories and history.

Have You Heard Of..? is my new project that illustrates these stories of inspiring people, from the past, and maybe from the present too, to bring them to our attention and see what we can learn from them.

I have roamed the world (from my computer!) searching out a varied and diverse first collection of people to illustrate.

 For this first bunch, I’ve chosen women from history. 

I looked for scientists, artists, activists, rebels, adventurers and inventors. 

I became intrigued by them all. I hope you will too!
